QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS FOR WAR VETERANS GRANT

Must be a South African citizen
Must be a resident in South Africa at the time of application
Must be 60 years and over or must be disabled
Must have fought in the Second World War, the Korean War or served in the war that commenced on 06 September 1939
Spouse must comply with the means test
Must not be maintained or cared for in a state institution
Must not be in receipt of another social grant in respect of yourself
Must submit 13 digit bar coded identity
