QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS FOR OLD AGE GRANT
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be a resident in South Africa at the time of application
- If male, must be 65 years or older
- If female, must be 60 years or older
- Spouse must comply with the means test
- Must not be maintained or cared for in a state institution
- Must not be in receipt of another social grant
- Must submit 13 digit bar coded identity
