Social Security Assistance

• To control, co-ordinate and monitor social security services

Functions:

• Ensure the provision of a social assistance service
• Ensure the provision of a social insurance service
• Ensure the provision of a grants administration service

1.1) DIRECTORATE: SOCIAL ASSISTANCE

• Purpose: To ensure the provision of a social assistance service

FUNCTIONS:

• Administrator the SOCPEN system
• Formulate policy in line with National directives
• Undertake research into social security provision

• 1 x Manager
• 1 x Secretary
• 1 x Deputy Manager
• 1 x Assistant Manager
• 2 x Administrative Officers

• Purpose: To ensure the provision of a grants administration service

FUNCTIONS:

• Manage social security financial matters
• Provide social security support services
