Purpose:

Functions:
  • Control, co-ordinate and manage all fiscal matters

1.1) CHIEF DIRECTORATE: FISCAL SERVICES
  • Purpose: To control, co-ordinate and manage all fiscal matters


FUNCTIONS:
  • render a salaries, expenditure and budgetary control service
  • Provide a financial inspection and risk management service


1.2) DIRECTORATE: FINANCIAL SERVICES
  • Purpose: To render a salaries, expenditure and budgetary control service


FUNCTIONS:
  • Render a salaries administration and expenditure control service
  • Render budgetary control services


1.3) DIRECTORATE: FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE
  • Purpose: To provide a financial inspection and risk management service


FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide a financial inspection service
  • Provide a risk management service


1.4) DIRECTORATE: MONITORING AND EVALUATION
  • Purpose: To monitor and evaluate departmental performance in terms of business plans outcomes


FUNCTIONS:
  • Generate reports on business plan compliance
  • Undertake research and report on the value added by measures contained in the business plans
  • Review compliance to policy in the operations of the Department
  • Facilitate customer and stakeholder feedback processes focussed on continuously improving the level of service delivery
  • Monitor and report on the content, quality and value of monthly and quarterly financial reports in relation to overall Departmental service delivery objectives
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and applicability of policy as applied to developmental initiatives and advice on areas for improvement

1.5) DIRECTORATE: LOGISTICS
